🎯 How do I get the ⭐ after donating?
For Cafecito and Ko-fi this is automatic: just type your username in the donor message and benefits activate in seconds. Other methods still need a manual step:
- Donate via any of the methods above.
- Cafecito / Ko-fi: in the "message" field, type your Puzzlelands username (e.g.
user: YourName). The webhook detects it and marks you as supporter automatically — no email needed. - PayPal / MP / Crypto: email me at puzzlelandgame@gmail.com with your username and, if you can, a screenshot or receipt. I verify and mark you manually (minutes to hours).

Puzzlelands is small, so no salaries or margins: the money goes to keeping the site online. Approximate costs per month:

❓ Frequently asked questions
Yes. If you don't want your name to appear, just don't send me your username — you keep the donation private. If I add a Wall of Fame in the future, you'll be able to opt in or out explicitly.
No. Puzzlelands is not a registered nonprofit, it's a personal independent project. Your donation is considered a gift, not a deductible contribution.
Not for now. All donations are one-time. If there's enough demand, I might add Patreon or similar in the future, but it's not a priority right now.
If something went wrong (you donated too much, by mistake, or the amount didn't go through due to a technical issue), email me and we'll sort it out. Otherwise, since it's a voluntary donation with no product delivered, refunds are generally not provided.
Email me with your username and proof of donation. I mark it manually: there can be a delay from minutes to a few hours (I don't watch email 24/7). If a day passes, feel free to follow up.
The ⭐ is tied to your account (UserId), not the visible name. You can change your username as many times as you want and the star follows you.
